About Chloris

They don't want a better coffee.
They want a better moment.

Chloris is a UK specialty coffee brand. Four blends, lot-traceable to the farms of Lâm Đồng Province, Vietnam. Roasted at origin by the people who know the farms. Air-freighted fresh.

The name is from Greek mythology — Chloris, goddess of spring. Every cup is that: warmth and colour arriving into whatever morning you've been handed.

Chloris — a moment of warmth
"Where the day gets its colour. From eternal spring."

The proposition

The cup is the reason.
Everything else is proof.

Most coffee brands open with their story. The farm, the founder, the process. We open with yours: what you need this morning, and whether we can give it to you.

The geography, the varieties, the processing — all of that is real, specific and verifiable. It earns the claims we make about what's in the cup. But it's not the front door. The moment is.

The enemy

Grey Autopilot.
The beige that wins by default.

Most premium coffee looks the same: muted, sage, apologetically quiet. It whispers reverence at you. It expects you to care about its story before it's earned the right to ask.

Chloris rejects that. Not because we're louder, but because we're more honest about what matters: the cup in your hand on a grey Tuesday morning, doing exactly what it promised.

The proof, in order

Not claims. Specifics.

01
Grown in a forest
Under a canopy of 25+ plant species. Not a field. The shade slows the cherry, builds complexity. It takes longer; that's the point.
02
Honey-processed on bamboo beds
An 8–12 hour ferment, then 14–20 days on raised bamboo beds in the highland air. This is where the sweetness lives.
03
Robusta sẻ — kept alive
A non-hybrid variety the industry abandoned for higher yields. A few farms in Lâm Đồng kept it because it tastes better. Top 3, Vietnam Coffee Producer Competition 2025 — Hạt Rừng.
04
Lot-traceable
Every bag to a named lot in Lâm Đồng. Not a region, not a co-op aggregate. The single-vineyard principle, applied to coffee.
05
Roasted at origin
Roasted and packed in Vietnam by people who know the farm and harvest. Not here. That matters.
06
Air-freighted fresh
Flown directly to the UK. No container-ship timeline. You get the coffee in its best two weeks.
The farms of Lâm Đồng Province

The source

Lâm Đồng Province.
Eternal spring.

Lâm Đồng Province, in the southern Vietnamese highlands, is one of the few coffee-growing regions in the world where the climate is temperate enough to be called "eternal spring." Cool nights, misty mornings, altitude. The conditions that make complexity possible.

We source from farms that have spent years on a different path to the industry norm: agroforestry instead of monoculture, ripe-cherry picking instead of strip picking, a closed soil cycle instead of chemical inputs. The result is in the cup.
